Our coworkers build their own way inside the company, the services and the expertise.To strengthen our division Knowledge, we are currently looking for a Product Manager Responsible Business Services (RBS)The Product Manager Responsible Business Services (RBS) works closely together with local sales teams, front-office and audit teams to ensure operational and technical excellence in the field of social compliance & ethical trade audits (e.g. SMETA, amfori BSCI, ICS, etc….).(S)he is also an experienced Audit Team Leader with an in-depth knowledge of the issues on the markets in which they operate, and typically master different schemes in the field of social accountability and ethical trade.(S)he acts as (technical) liaison officer between Global RBS Team and Local team.Job DescriptionKey Accountabilities

  • Provide technical input to sales, front-office and audit employees as required.
  • Act as Technical Lead between Global RBS Team and Local Knowledge Solutions teams and coordinate with Global RBS Scheme Managers to ensure the effective implementation of the programs in Benelux.
  • Act as sole auditor or audit team leader on selected RBS schemes.
  • Ensure effective delivery of social compliance/ ethical trade audits in line with RBS Global Procedures and any scheme requirements or client SOP
  • Promote the SGS approach and RBS services at seminars and through presentations and articles.
  • Technical review of reports from other social compliance auditors.
  • Active development of relationships through existing networks and contacts.
  • Lead and organize audit team before, during and after the audit for the related job.
  • Mentor auditors and provide “on-the-job” training

QualificationsTo be successful is this role we are looking for someone….Essential:

  • Minimum of four years experience in the field of Responsible Business Solutions, social compliance (audits) of related supply chain activities
  • Succesfully completed recognised auditor training (e.g. SA8000, APSCA, RA, CSCA,…)
  • Recognised approval as Certified Social Compliance Auditor (e.g. APSCA Registered Auditor) for a variety of schemes in the fiield of ethical trade audits and social compliance audits.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with management, technical, marketing, sales, auditing and administrative personnel.
  • Ability to effectively understand customer and market expectations inand to be customer focused.
  • Excellent technical competency and understanding of ethical trade and social compliance audit related principles & practises and associated legal requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to sell SGS services to clients.
  • Ability to work under own initiative and in planning and prioritizing workloads

Desirable;

  • Advanced level of English
  • Experience of project management
  • APSCA Registered Auditor status
