Job ID: 39061 | Location: Barcelona, Barcelona, SpainLeads a team of multy sppecilists to deliver IT larger projects with global scale, mostly projects across IT Domains and which span across one or more Business or Service Units.Responsibilities

  • Leads the deliver of IT global scale projects, managing all around the project (resources, providers, budget, etc).
  • Planning of resources, schedules, financials, adequately escalations handling and combining expertise delivering compley solutions with SAP, NonSAP IT applications, M&A and Technology Operations projects.
  • Helps project requestors to understand their true needs and creatively deliver on them with the right solutions.
  • Coaches and trains less experienced project managers to increase project management maturity.
  • Strong functional business process knowledge and close interacting with the BU /GFS.
  • Defining & maintaining continous improvement of the project prep. and execution process and procedures
  • Effectively managing vendors to maintain support and deliver new features in a cost effective manner.
  • Complete the project in the agreed scope, timeline and budget by managing resources and complying with all internal and external regulations.
  • Takes and manages risks together with the project requestor and IT Domains to deliver projects as efficiently as possible.

Requirements

  • Higher education or equivalent degree in information management, computer science, business management or similar
  • Minimum experience of 7 years leading international IT projects.
  • Strong and long experience in Software development projects
  • At least 5 years experience in leadership / influencing roles in IT environment (internal and external projects team).
  • Professional written and verbal communication in English. Other languages are considered as a plus.
  • Experience in dealing with IT suppliers incl. contract negotiation and performance managament.
  • Experience in managing budget for IT projects.
  • Excellent consulting and project management skills.
  • Experience working with global and multicultural teams,
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Capable of solving problems systematically and analytically.
  • Certification in SCRUM, additional certification in Project management is a plus.
