Job Description:About this opportunityWe seek a highly skilled and experienced Site Reliability Engineer for our team. You will be crucial in designing, building, and maintaining the robust infrastructure that powers our products and services. This is the perfect opportunity if you are passionate about creating scalable and highly available systems and enjoy working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.In your role you will actively participate in developing and implementing best methodologies in site reliability engineering, ensuring high system availability, scalability, and performance.What you will do

  • Design, develop, and maintain our platform infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand product requirements and provide technical guidance for infrastructure design and implementation.
  • Build and maintain automated systems for deployment, monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
  • Participate in incident handling, investigating, and resolving production incidents to minimize impact and ensure system stability.
  • Perform capacity planning and optimization to ensure the platform meets performance and scalability targets.
  • Conduct regular system and performance analysis, identify improvement areas and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and stability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, including performance bottlenecks, network connectivity problems, and infrastructure failures.
  • Implement and maintain security best methodologies throughout the platform, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to define and implement DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) approaches.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for the production environment, responding to and resolving incidents in a timely manner.

You will bring

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience as a Platform Engineer, SRE, or similar role, implementing operational processes and tools, managing environments, and large-scale cloud application environments.
  • Strong knowledge of system architecture and networking concepts, specifically designing scalable and fault-tolerant systems.
  • Very good knowledge of Automated Build Systems. It is mandatory to have experience with Jenkins and Spinnaker for building and managing CI/CD pipelines; experience GitOps and tools such as ArgoCD, Flux…are highly appreciated.
  • Proven experience in Infrastructure as Code solutions; mandatory: Terraform; experience with Azure Resource Manager, Google Cloud Deployment Manager, AWS CloudFormation is also appreciated.
  • IT Automation tools; mandatory Ansible; also appreciated puppet.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language; mandatory python and scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell); appreciated other languages like Go, Javascript,…
  • Experience with Kubernetes CNCF distributions like SUSE RKE2, Red Hat Openshift, VMware Tanzu and containerized solutions; mandatory Docker; appreciated containerd
  • Working knowledge on databases, preferably NewSQL; Also appreciated NoSQL knowledge.
  • Solid understanding of Linux-based systems, including administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Deep knowledge of monitoring and experience with implementing observability practices; mandatory: Prometheus, ELK, OpenTelemetry, Grafana; also appreciated Jaeger, Dynatrace,..
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
