Job description
In Melt Group we are looking for a Steel Equipment Site Supervisor for a large EPC project of Metallic Structure for an international company dedicated to the design/engineering, manufacturing, assembly and commissioning of turnkey projects related to the Metals Sector (Steel Plants, Oil & Gas, Metalic Furnitures… ).Functions to be performed:
- Manage the planning of the metal project phase.
- Supervise the construction of the steel structure phase.
- Monitor the performance of subcontractors.
- Supervise the start-up of the plant.
- Support and report to Site and Project Managers in the relationship with contractors.
- Daily and monthly reporting on the project.
- Establish, monitor and maintain quality control procedures.
- Provide solutions when any setbacks arise.
Desirable requirements:
- Mechanical or Civil Engineering or a related field.
- It is essential to have at least 5 years of professional experience in similar positions, preferably in engineering or international assembly companies.
- Knowledge and experience steel structures
- Teamwork skills.
- Motivated and project-oriented.
- Good communication skills, to deal effectively with foreign contractors.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) is mandatory.
Offered:
- Employment project contract (with trail period) with the prospect of being hired for the Company.
- Salary range: Pending experience + expatriate conditions (hotel accommodation, insurance, travel, per diems…)
- Rotation 90/30 or 60/10.
