Site Engagement and Enrollment Manager, Europe

You could be our next Site Engagement and Enrollment Manager – helping us bring innovative treatments to people living with brain disorders faster by strengthening how we partner with clinical trial sites across Europe and ensuring the patient voice is reflected throughout our clinical development.

Your new role

As Site Engagement and Enrollment Manager for Europe, you will drive site engagement strategies and support the execution of integrated enrollment plans across Lundbeck’s clinical programs in Europe. You will play a key role in strengthening site partnerships, optimizing site and participant experience, and ensuring delivery of enrollment targets.

Working closely with Clinical Operations, Patient Insights, Medical Affairs, Patient Advocacy, and external partners, you will translate program-level strategies into regional actions, monitor site performance, and proactively identify risks and opportunities.

You will also contribute to embedding the patient voice into how we design and execute our studies – helping to remove barriers to participation, improve accessibility, and enhance engagement and retention. Your work will directly support efficient, ethical trial delivery and meaningful outcomes for patients.

Your future team

You will be part of the Patient Insights function within Global Clinical Operations, focused on ensuring that the patient perspective is embedded throughout clinical development. We work to understand the lived experience of people with brain disorders and translate those insights into actions that improve trial design, site engagement, and patient access.

In close collaboration with cross-functional colleagues and external partners, we strengthen site relationships and support enrollment and retention strategies – always with the goal of reflecting the patient voice in how we plan and execute our studies.

The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

What you bring to the team

To succeed in this role, you need to bring solid experience within clinical trial operations, site engagement, or patient recruitment, along with a deep commitment to improving outcomes for patients.

Key skills and experience include:

-5–8+ years of experience in clinical research, site engagement, or patient enrollment within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
-A bachelor’s degree within life sciences or another relevant scientific field (advanced degree preferred).
-Proven ability to build and maintain impactful partnerships with clinical trial sites and cross-functional stakeholders.
-Experience supporting and executing enrollment strategies, with the ability to translate plans into measurable results.
-Well-developed analytical skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and identify risks and opportunities.
-Experience working in international and cross-functional environments, ideally within Europe.
-A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities.
