Here at the Mick George Group, we are looking for a SHEQ Administrator.

Job Overview:

Provide administrative support to the H&S and Quality function within the wider SHEQ Team on an ad hoc basis as permitted by the primary duties above.

Deputise for and provide ad-hoc assistance to maintain up to date training qualifications across the business; communicating with participants and training vendors and assisting with development of effective programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Monthly Health and Safety statistics for each business.

  • Extraction of information from the management system software database (Activ) to prepare and monitor the management of Improvement Logs.

  • Preparation and distribution of health and safety toolbox talks, safety alerts and hot topics.

  • Maintenance of the central COSHH library for the business.

  • Administration and management of our ‘near miss’ reporting system (Logincident) including management of users, data processing and transposing selected reports to Improvement Logs.

  • Support in the collation of information related to accident / incident investigation.

  • Management of the Activ system including updating starters and leavers, uploading new and reviewed documents, administration of registers, providing first line support in training and problem resolution for users.

  • Assist updating and maintaining on-line records for the Group’s industry quality and safety scheme certifications.

  • Assist with the provision of information for the completion of customer supply chain questionnaires and PQQ’s.

    Skills/ Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years work experience as a administrator or in a similar role.

  • Project management experience

  • Competent in Microsoft Office package

  • A Management or Training qualification (desirable)
