We are looking for a Services Project Manager for PLM, MOM, Low coding platform implementations to join our Professional Services organization. As the primary general contractor, our Business Unit leads all aspects of software delivery projects in Italy, ensuring alignment with customer satisfaction and contractual requirements.
Your mission
In this role, you’ll engage with multiple diverse customers, predominantly in the machinery and consumer industries. Your responsibilities will include the adept management of time, information, and turnkey projects. You will handle multidisciplinary projects for medium and large accounts, where the application of corporate methodologies and practices is important. Furthermore, your ability to seamlessly interact with global organizations will be essential to the success of the projects.
Key challenges
Build a multilevel project plan to fit customers’ needs and deliver with-in budget on contract and desired outcomes. Full responsibility for the result of the project.
Work closely with the Customer, Presales and Sales Team for defining the project scope and objectives to ensure project members know what is expected from them. Encourage team collaboration across the projects.
Prepare, maintain and submit clear activity and time reports. The No. 1 reason for tracking a project is to discover potential problems before they occur. Use this proactive approach continuously in order to compare the project progress and the project commitments.
The project success is directly related to customer satisfaction: a good customer relationship is fundamental. Involve the customer regarding the project status. Approve significant project achievements, above all contractual milestone.
Communicate project milestones and status updates to all concerned parties, as well as any existing or potential customer escalation issues. Follow the right escalation processes. Have overall ownership of all reports to the management.
Qualifications
Proven experience as Project Manager in enterprise IT projects, preferably on PLM, MOM or ERP platforms;
Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or Economics fields;
PM certification (e.g. PMP, Prince 2…) is required;
Strong interpersonal skills in Italian and English (B2 level or above, both spoken and written);
Self-motivated, prompt and assertive, with very good time management skills;
Calm and collaborative work under pressure, comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments;
Ability to identify problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis;
Flexible to travel at least 70% of the working time (you will be assigned a company car)
