Job description
We are looking for a Junior Service Reliability Engineer to join our client’s international growing team. As a Junior SRE , you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers and developers to ensure the reliability and performance of applications and systems. You will be involved in monitoring, analyzing potential issues, and deploying technical solutions under the guidance of senior team members.This role offers the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in cloud environments, automation, and infrastructure-as-code developments while contributing to the reliability and performance of systems:

  • Support senior team members in monitoring information and sources to generate alerts and warnings on potential issues before they impact the systems or applications.
  • Assist in analyzing configuration and behavioural issues and deploying technical solutions under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Learn and ensure reliability criteria and best practices are met and implemented as designed.
  • Contribute to driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization, working closely with DevOps, architecture, and security.
  • Play an active role in emergency response situations.
  • Participate in the assessment of application and service architecture to ensure reliability, availability, and performance.

Your profile

  • You hold a master’s degree in computer sciences, engineering, or related fields.
  • Good knowledge of software development, system administration, and cloud computing.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, able to analyze complex systems, troubleshoot issues, and identify potential solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
  • Ability to present complex technical findings in a clear way that’s easily understood by everyone.
  • You are a team player and have the talent to cooperate with colleagues in a changing and fast-evolving environment.
  • You are willing to participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support.
  • You show very good oral and written proficiency in English.
