When you join the NCI Agency, you will be part of an organization where you can contribute authentically to the mission and purpose of NATO and help us keep our technological edge.About the job:Based in Brunssum, The Netherlands, you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join CSSC, which provides effective static and deployable Information Communications Technology (ICT) system repair and maintenance as well as ICT Hardware Asset Management (AM) services in support of NATO operations, exercises and training. As the Central Warehouse for ICT Hardware within NATO, CSSC is responsible for the supply activities associated with stock management, procurement, delivery, receipt and through life management of all ICT hardware items. CSSC personnel are located within the central hub in Brunssum as well as the three Forward Support Points at Bydgoszcz, Grazzanise and Wesel.We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Service Operations Manager who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:
- Initiate the planning, prioritizing, synchronizing, scheduling, and tracking of CSSC resources for all NATO Security Investment Programs (NSIP) supported by CSSC;
- Schedule CSSC resource requirements in support of NSIP activities;
- Closely cooperates with respective Branches in order to support lifecycle management activities across all Business Areas and enables the sustainability of systems in regards to the execution, planning, technical, logistical, and asset issues;
- Engage, initiate, and prioritize the planning, synchronizing, scheduling, and tracking of CSSC assets for corrective and preventative maintenance on all NATO CIS equipment based on the Central, Static and Deployable Service Level Agreements;
- Monitor and analyze CSSC deliverables in support of CSSC NSIP activities across all Business Areas, providing feedback and recommendations to all appropriate managers;
- Ensure quality reporting to customers of all completed technical work;
- Provide effective feedback to all appropriate stakeholders throughout the performance management cycle, to ensure optimum performance.

- A minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline such as Telecommunications or Electronics Engineering and at least 3 years post-related experience, or exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate’s particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency, that is, at least 10 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post;
- Proven success as a project team manager/leader in Telecommunication systems;
- Knowledge of NATO or similar and comparable national governmental CIS policies;
- Advanced knowledge and proven experience on CIS in a military environment;
- Advanced knowledge and experience creating and using modern digital solutions for tracking projects and program of work status;
- Advanced knowledge of ITIL V3 or ITIL V4 or equivalent level IT Service Management certification;
- PRINCE2 or equivalent;
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
