Service Operations Intern in Genoa, Italy

Type of contract: 6-month extracurricular internship

Location: Genova, Italy

Join our Service Operations team , which focuses on improving service delivery by analyzing performance, supporting process improvements, and ensuring quality across operations. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work on key initiatives like performance monitoring, quality issue management, and stakeholder collaboration in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support monitoring and analysis of service performance data.

• Assist in creating dashboards and reports to highlight trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.

• Assist with administrative tasks related to IT Service Management, change requests, and case tracking.

• Support the documentation of quality-related activities and regulatory compliance processes.

• Collaborate on initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance service quality.

• Help document and implement new processes for better operational efficiency.

• Work with internal teams and interact with Philips global service stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Education: Technical School (IT background preferred) or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Basic technical knowledge in software/hardware solutions, including Windows OS, servers, storage, and troubleshooting.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills in Italian and English.

• Knowledge of networking, monitoring tools, databases, virtualization, and scripting languages would be a plus .

• Proactive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team.
