Job Description:A little about the departmentA Service Delivery Technician within our tooling section will work with implementation, configuration and run & maintain assignments across leveraged platforms and technologies.The tools provided to service our leveraged clients consists of a suite of standardized tooling components like monitoring, patching, CMDB, ITSM and more and are residing on mainly Linux and Windows platforms (virtual and a few physical instances).Close cooperation with Service Delivery, project and account organisation when handling issues and requests.Your job will be:This role reports to the Regional HUB lead from a functional point of view and to the Service Management Regional Operations Manager from a Business point of view and is a multi-disciplined cross functional role covering:Setup, configure and run various tools like ServiceNow, BigFix and othersParticipate in roll- out of new toolsets (ie. Dynatrace)Integration of tools and solutions into ITSM systems (ServiceNow on- prem)Troubleshooting and error correcting on pre-installed toolsAutomation and development of new services and solutions within the teamYour professional competencies:Understanding of tools, applications, and technologies that enable System management and act as components of the framework, including their expected performance and impact on overall service performance.Experience with Linux and Windows Server platforms i.e. System administratorExperience and familiarity with JavaScript. Familiarity with Python, ActionScript 3, Powershell, MYSQL and Jenkins is bonus.Experience and familiarity working with REST API solutions.Ability to work individually and from home (DXC Virtual first) as well as in virtual teams.Your personal competencies:Danish speaking and writingBased and working from Denmark due to legislation and contracts handled by the Danish SiteAble to obtain proper Security clearance.Dealing with ambiguityBusiness acumenComposureConflict managementCustomer focusManaging/measuring workMotivating othersProblem-solvingDrive for resultsCommunication skills (writing)Other requirements:Working experience and/ or knowledge of ITSM- systems like ServiceNow, Remedy or other systems preferred.For the profiles applying, profiles have to be eligible to be Danish Security cleared in order to work for the secured accounts.
