The ideal candidate will possess a clear vision of modern business operations and processes, exhibit decisiveness, agility, and teamwork, and serve as a reliable discussion partner at all levels.In collaboration with three fellow IT Managers and the Director of ICT Infrastructure, you will guide and support the client’s ICT services from an infrastructure perspective. This role involves managing approximately 45 employees across four Agile platform teams: Core Infrastructure, Network, Windows, Linux, and Data Center.Role & responsibilities

• Serving as the primary point of contact for the development domains.
• Planning, managing, and coordinating major infrastructure changes and projects, including infrastructure components of development initiatives.
• Cross-functional automation focused on delivering end-to-end infrastructure services with the aim of enabling the development and infrastructure teams to work more autonomously.
• Setting up and maintaining monitoring and scheduling.
• Final responsibility for the infrastructure services within your domain.
• As a strong People Manager, steering, coaching and motivating self-organizing teams and providing constructive feedback on a regular basis.
• Anticipating evolutions within your domain and translating the business and ICT strategy into the operational management of your unit.
• Working on the continuous improvement of the services to your customers.
• Collaborating with the department director and Service Delivery Managers to contribute to the overall policy of the ICT department and assume shared responsibility.
• Translating various SLAs into technical elements and make the translation to our catalogue.
• Overseeing the budget of the unit and providing needed explanations in the context of performance financing.
• Engaging in contract negotiations and formalizing agreements with suppliers.

QualificationsYour profile

• University education in ICT or equivalent through experience.
• With your ability to communicate effectively, clear vision, and extensive global ICT knowledge and experience, you can establish strong leadership. Your management and communication style promote cooperation, making you an effective coach and people manager.
• Committed to achieving results and ensuring maximum customer satisfaction. Natural ambition to develop your employees and continuously optimize the processes under your responsibility.
• Proficiency in Dutch, French, and English is essential for effective communication in both internal and external interactions.
• Flexibility to work in a rotation for the continuous service between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm.

Technical skills

• At least 10 years of experience in ICT, with at least 5 years of experience in an ICT management position in a large company or organization
• Knowledge of the operation of networks, network security (firewall, WAF, …) and core infrastructure (Data center, servers, virtualization, …). Understanding of the network OSI layer, hypervisor architecture, knowledge of cloud design is a great asset.
• Broad knowledge and experience in the field of ICT processes (ITIL) and infrastructure management.
• Experience with Agile Scrum within infrastructure would be an asset, an Agile mindset is a must.
• Experience with DEVOPS.
• Experience in preparing for public tenders would be considered an asset.
• Comprehensive understanding of designs created by the solution architects.
• Experience in managing infrastructure projects.
