Description Overview
Perrigo have an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to join the team to help build our new Master Data Services function. You will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery, stability, and performance of Master Data services within Perrigo Business Services (PBS), covering Vendor, Customer, and Material Master Data.
This is a senior operational leadership role, combining service accountability, people leadership, governance, and continuous improvement. Your role plays a key part in the transition of activities from functions and local teams into PBS, ensuring a smooth knowledge transfer, operational readiness, and service stabilization. Over time, the SDL owns steady-state service delivery while supporting the evolution of scope, operating model, and capabilities within the Master Data domain.
Scope of the Role
End-to-End Service Delivery Ownership
-Own end-to-end delivery of Vendor, Customer, and Material Master Data services within PBS.
-Ensure services meet agreed SLAs, quality standards, and governance requirements.
-Act as final escalation points for complex, high-risk, or business-critical master data issues.
Scope Transitions & Service Expansion
-Support the migration of master data activities from functions and local teams to PBS.
-Ensure effective knowledge transfer, documentation, and operational readiness.
-Support onboarding of new scopes and domains as PBS services expand.
Team Leadership & Oversight
-Lead and support Team Leads, Senior Coordinators, Coordinators within the Master Data organization.
-Provide direction, prioritization, and workload management across MD domains.
-Support talent development, role clarity, and capability building within the team.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
-Ensure adherence to Master Data governance, internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards (e.g. SOX, data integrity, data privacy).
-Own service-level reporting and performance reviews with key stakeholders.
-Ensure consistent application of standards across Vendor, Customer, and Material data.
Continuous Improvement & Ways of Working
-Drive standardization, simplification, and harmonization of Master Data processes.
-Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
-Support implementation of new ways of working across PBS Master Data services.
Experience Required
-Significant experience in Master Data, Shared Services, or Business Operations environments.
-Proven experience in service delivery leadership or operational management roles.
-Strong hands-on understanding of Vendor, Customer, and/or Material Master Data processes.
-Demonstrated experience managing scope transitions, centralization, or service migrations.
-Experience leading operational teams and/or Team Leads in a global or multi-country environment.
-Strong decision-making skills in complex and ambiguous situations.
-Ability to balance governance and controls with business pragmatism.
-Strong stakeholder management skills, including interaction with Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Commercial teams, IT, and Data Governance.
-Solid understanding of ERP Master Data concepts and dependencies.
-Experience working with KPIs, SLAs, quality metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
-Strong documentation, prioritization, and risk-management capabilities.
