Summary

DSD team adapt, innovate, and simplify to empower excellence and agility in SAP. We manage large scale diverse product development and production systems and provide mission critical premium support for Development Production landscapes. Our teams consists of Basis, DB, OS and Hyperscalers(SAP CC/Google Cloud) consultants.

What you will do

As Server Management specialist, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

•    Design, Implement and Maintain Openstack Cloud infrastructure services.
•    Installation of virtualization services, Kubernetes services, Cloud services, server OS, applications etc.
•    Configuring cloud storage, networking and security functionalities.
•    E2E Linux (SUSE and RHEL) OS administration, Consulting, Escalation handling etc.
•    Support Production critical infrastructures
•    Experience in designing and implementation of HA Solutions.
•    Rolling out solutions at product development infrastructure.
•    Assist in creating solutions to meet product development requirements.
•    Experience working any one Hyperscalers (GCP or AWS or Azure).
•    Assisting in demo, POC, support activities, and actively learning on the job.
•    Work in projects involving global teams.

What you bring

•    5+ years of professional experience as an engineer and technical leader.
•    Extensive expertise with Linux based systems and Linux architecture.
•    Experience in Openstack Cloud is highly desirable.
•    Any Certifications on Linux based architecture like RHCE / Openstack is preferable.
•    Strong in fundamentals including Networking, Security, OS concepts, Virtualisation etc.
•    Hands on skills in Trouble shooting Development/Production systems.
•    Flexible, dependable, self-starter, and capable of quickly learning new products and technologies.
•    Experience on Shell and Python scripting.
