Have you driven significant technological advancements and achieved the highest level of operational excellence? Do you want to ensure high-quality products for millions of patients who rely on our products every day?
If so, then we invite you for the role as Senior Vice President (SVP), Finished Product Manufacturing.
About the area
You will lead Finished Product Manufacturing (FPM), the unit within Product Supply responsible for manufacturing all finished products, including component manufacturing, devices, needles, assembly, and packaging. FPM is a collaborative effort of 4,000 colleagues across ten countries, dedicated to serving patients with high-quality products. FPM has a close collaboration with Device Development, and the MSAT function in FPM matures new devices for high volume manufacturing.
Our primary goal is to ensure that all finished products are manufactured effectively on time to the highest quality standards before distribution to people living with serious chronic diseases.
At FPM, we are committed to driving technology leadership within Finished Production and improving standards across our core technologies. Utilizing modern technology helps us fulfill our commitment to delivering safe products to serve more patients.
The position
As SVP and global head of FPM, you will be reporting to the Executive VP for Product Supply, Quality, and IT (PSQIT) who is a member of Novo Nordisk’s C-suite.
You will serve as a role model for the Novo Nordisk Way, and you will own our global strategy and plans within FP manufacturing.

You will be responsible for driving expansion activities, adding significant production capacity to the global FPM network to meet the growing demand for products and serve more patients.
As an active member of the PSQIT management team, you are expected to contribute your knowledge and experience across global IT operations, quality assurance, manufacturing, and supply chain. You will also lead relevant project steering groups to pave the way for PSQIT to remain an advanced technology organisation that proactively drives the purpose of Novo Nordisk and delivers the highest quality to patients in a sustainable and efficient way.
The position is a worldwide position, and currently most activities are in Denmark and USA. The position is placed in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Qualifications
You have 10+ years’ experience as a senior leader of global organisations (1,000+ employees) within large-scale LEAN manufacturing from the pharmaceutical industry or alternative global and large-scale manufacturing like automotive, brewery etc.
You are recognized for your ability to drive and innovate global strategies and navigate complex stakeholder landscapes. You communicate in an impactful, engaging manner that motivates and inspires, turning presentations and discussions with senior stakeholders into constructive dialogues that lead to clear decision-making.
You can create immediate impact and have a proven history of creating followship across cultures in a large organisation. You are a role model within leadership, fostering a progressive and diverse, future-focused working environment and a culture where people feel empowered to lead and make decisions.
Preferably, you hold a master’s degree in science, engineering, or a similar field, and you are expected to be curious about innovative technologies and driven by innovation and improvement. Additionally, you have a holistic mindset, and you are a role model for collaboration across functions and geographies.
