• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients providing them with proactive tax planning advice so they achieve their goals,
• Conducting advanced research on laws and regulations to stay up-to-date with the latest changes & development. You share this knowledge with your team.
• Providing expert advisory services to clients on complex issues, also preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, legal formalities, payroll, and other compliance matters to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Mentoring and training junior consultants on laws, regulations and compliance matters

Your profileFor sure we are looking for someone who’s willing to bring our VAT department to a higher level. We empower, complement, and grow each other. And that is what we expect from you. First of all, you have crazy vibes and a great dose of humour. You will do serious business in a less serious team.

• You have a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accountancy-Taxation, Economics, Law, and have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience within VAT.
• Consistency, Diplomacy and Accuracy are you middle names
• You have excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, spoken and written. Are you trilingual and do you speak French, then we are totally fond of you.
• When we say communication, we not only mean your language skills; we think and act in a professional, respectful, integer and structured way with everyone we do business. Without the drama, but with trust.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• You can work independently after you are totally up and running but understand why there is no I in TEAM.
• You are an organisational talent, have great time-management skills and respect deadlines. The pro in pro-active is your trademark.
• You solve problems in no time, like lemon remove grease stains. There are actually no problems for you, because you see opportunities in everything
• You are accurate and stress resistant. We do sometimes the Woooosh thing, it helps
• And lastly, but not less important, you are not afraid to dive into the HR sea, where processes and tools swim by, but where you will also discover a lot of new things
