Senior Underground Designer – PSC

Wood are seeking a Senior Underground Designer on an initial 4 month contract to work on a technically complex middle eastern project based from our Reading office. The role will require you to be based in the office 4 days per week.

• Execution and oversight of Civil Design requirements
• Experience of earthworks modelling including InRoads or Openroads
• Provision of quantification input as required
• Production of all associated project design deliverables
• Checking and review work undertaken by other execution offices and third party entities
• Support to the Lead Civil Engineer as required
• Effective coordination of all elements within the project
• Maintain effective dialogue with other Project Engineers, Delivery Team leader, Engineering manager
• Degree in Engineering with experience in Refinery / Petrochemical / Chemical / Power / Plant Projects.
• Knowledge in 2D and 3D drafting Bentley Microstation V8i
• S3D Modelling experience
• Working knowledge of OpenRoads and/or Windes (Microdrainage) would be considered an advantage
