Primary Responsibilities:

-Manage ABO payment methods across the region.
-In collaboration with the Treasury Manager, introduce and enhance payment channels for ABO-to-Company transactions, such as product purchases. Drive the innovation necessary to maintain a competitive advantage and support digital strategies.
-Regularly monitor the use of payment methods and recommend changes to the payment portfolio in line with market trends.
-Work closely with the Treasury Manager, Market Managing Directors, Digital teams, and Global CFOs to develop new payment methods for product purchases.
-Lead the implementation and promotion of the Treasury strategy for the payment orchestration platform and dual-gateway setup.
-Identify and mitigate market-specific obstacles to ensure smooth implementation.
-Act as the primary ambassador for the strategy across internal teams and external partners.
-Address regulatory constraints, local payment method requirements, acquiring challenges, and other market-specific considerations.
-Collaborate closely with GBS Centers to develop operational payment methods that can be supported effectively.
-Manage relationships with payment processors, payment gateways, merchant card acquirers, payment networks, and other payment service providers, including Adyen, Worldpay, Chase Paymentech, Visa, Mastercard, 2C2P, PayU, and Accertify.
-Integrate payment solutions to optimize the ABO experience and minimize card-processing costs.
-Serve as the Treasury and banking subject matter expert and act as a liaison between banks, FinTech partners, and internal stakeholders, including Finance, IT, and Digital teams.
-Partner with Digital teams to implement new payment methods and innovative payment solutions.
-Lead RFP processes for the selection of new service providers.Lead contract negotiations, ensuring the involvement of all relevant stakeholders, including Legal, Tax, Digital, and Sales.
-Troubleshoot payment-channel issues as they arise.
-Ensure appropriate backup arrangements are in place for critical payment processes and providers.
-Maintain regular communication with FinTech companies and banks to understand payment trends and recommend appropriate solutions to the business.
-Ensure that all inbound payment processes comply with PCI DSS requirements, including the secure handling, transmission, and storage of cardholder data.
-Collaborate with Security, Compliance, and Engineering teams to maintain PCI-compliant system designs and operational practices.
-Support audits, assessments, and remediation activities related to PCI DSS and broader payment security standards.

Required Knowledge & Skills and/or Related Experience:

-Professional experience: Five to eight years of relevant professional experience. 
-Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. 
-Treasury Knowledge: Strong knowledge of global Treasury trends, including relevant technologies.
-Payments Expertise: Good understanding of the payments landscape, combined with the critical-thinking skills required to understand and interpret emerging trends.
-Financial Controls Knowledge: Knowledge of financial controls and the ability to evaluate the effectiveness of internal and external controls.
-Data Interpretation: Ability to interpret financial and numerical information and draw accurate conclusions.
-Financial Communication: Ability to communicate and present complex financial information effectively, both verbally and in writing, to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels and across global audiences. Ability to help others understand financial data and translate it into actionable business insights.
-Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically, understand the broader business context, and identify long-term needs and opportunities.
-Managing Multiple Priorities: Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, stakeholder groups, or activities, while making sound decisions regarding priorities and time allocation.
-Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain effective, productive relationships. Strong influencing, negotiation, and conflict-management skills when working with stakeholders, vendors, and peers.
-Business Knowledge: Good understanding of the business and the key internal and external factors affecting it, including financial, political, and industry trends.
-Consulting Skills: Ability to provide effective technical or business guidance to internal and external stakeholders. Knowledge of relevant tools and techniques that support effective consulting.
-Critical Thinking: Ability to formulate conclusions and recommendations based on facts, data, financial and business analysis, deductive reasoning, and sound judgment.
