The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Town Planner to join an expanding Planning team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on some of Ireland’s largest and most complex renewable energy, infrastructure, urban development, and waste projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing strategic planning advice, preparing and submitting planning applications, and leading multidisciplinary teams on environmental reports and EIARs for renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and submit planning applications for large-scale projects
* Provide strategic planning advice and guide consenting processes and strategies
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on environmental reports and EIARs for renewable energy projects
* Lead project teams and manage the delivery of complex, multi-faceted projects
* Work closely with both private and public sector clients
* Contribute to the expansion of FT’s Planning business

Qualifications & Experience Required:

* Degree and/or Master’s in Town Planning
* Minimum of seven years’ experience in town planning
* Chartered member of the IPI/RTPI
* Expert knowledge of planning and environmental legislation
* Experience in preparing planning applications, reports, feasibility studies, and masterplans
* Proven track record in project management and delivery of multidisciplinary projects
* Strong team player with experience in leading and supporting project delivery
