Project Overview:
Bechtel and Westinghouse Electric Company have partnered to deliver the first nuclear power reactors in Poland for our customer, the Polish Entity Polskie Elektrownie Jadrowe (PEJ). Bechtel will be the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor for the project. As the EPC, our responsibilities will include providing the design for the Turbine Island and Balance of Plant as well as the construction of the entire facility. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity, and we are looking for the talent that will help expand Poland’s nuclear base and build a strong and long-lasting energy future for generations to come. This position is subject to U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) regulations at 10 CFR Part 810 (Part 810), which govern the transfer of hardware, materials, and technology to support the construction and operation of commercial nuclear power plants overseas.
Job Summary:
In this role, you will perform and oversee timekeeping activities for the Poland AP1000 Project, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely processing of employee time records while meeting weekly project deadlines. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to maintain confidentiality, a customer service mindset, and the flexibility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic construction environment. Your work will help ensure accurate labor reporting, workforce administration, timely craft payroll processing and on-time payments to onsite Craft Professionals.
Major Responsibilities:

-Participate and assist in onboarding of Craft Professional new hires, including badging and assistance with new hire paperwork.
-Prompt entry and maintenance of all required payroll information for Craft Professionals in project timekeeping and payroll systems, including but not limited to new hire information, terminations, rate and classification changes, etc.
-Verification of daily craft employee attendance using the project electronic timekeeping system (eTrack).
-Crew timesheet maintenance as directed by construction supervision.
-Review, reconciliation, and exporting daily time records for all craft employees.
-Record approved craft employee requests for time off and daily call-ins in eTrack.
-Review reports prepared in the timekeeping department for accuracy and completeness to ensure accurate recording in project records.
-Provide payroll-related customer service to Craft Professionals.
-Maintain direct working relationship with union stewards, craft foremen, general foremen, superintendents, safety representatives, and Bechtel labor relations representatives.
-Ensure timekeeping functions are performed in accordance with all company, GBU, and project policies and procedures.
-Support project closeout tasks and activities as required.
-Prepare regular workforce and labor-hour reports for project management and Finance.
-Support implementation and continuous improvement of timekeeping controls and procedures.
-Coordinate with supervisors, foremen, and managers to resolve timekeeping discrepancies.
-Perform other tasks assigned by Finance Manager or Site Manager, with the ability to work overtime on short notice as required.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience in timekeeping, workforce administration, labor reporting, project controls, payroll support or related administrative role
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Minimum Qualifications:
-Experience supporting workforce administration and timekeeping activities for a large construction project with a substantial site-based workforce.
-Strong understanding of employee timekeeping processes and workforce reporting.
-Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
-Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
-Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
-Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently to resolve routine problems.
-Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment and deal with pressure in a professional manner.
-Professional level of Polish and English.
-Availability to support business or project needs outside standard working hours when required.
