In the AA business Unit, the Battery Management Systems (BMS) Segment drives the business of NXP’s leading mixed-signal battery management products for automotive and industrial markets. Together with a worldwide design team, we develop application specific standard products which integrate high performance analog functions as well as digital logic ranging up to 32 bit microcontrollers and DSPs in high voltage CMOS processes.

We are now searching for the best talents over the world to meet our business growth. We are looking for design, test, verification, validation, application engineers. We are recruiting all over the world and very actively in our new design centers in Italy.

We are ideally looking Test Engineers experience in BMS (High Voltage Precision Measurement and processing systems in Automotive applications) OR other relevant experience in analogue and mixed-signal domains.

Your Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer

You will be developing industrial test solutions (hardware and software) for mass production and support the design team during the development phase of new products. You will be accountable for driving your deliverables to timely completion with the high quality expected by out customers. Balancing electrical performance, time-to-market, quality and cost is the daily challenge you embrace. You will be involved from the very beginning of the specification and design of the product. Based on your inputs, Design for Test options will be implemented to make sure we can achieve automotive quality levels at the lowest cost. As the project progresses, you develop the test plan and verify this with simulations. Next step is the coding and when the silicon arrives, you are ready to start debugging. In close cooperation with all function in the team, you prepare you test setup for the formal qualification of the product and release it into mass production.

You have excellent communication skills and proven ability to collaborate across organizational and geographical boundaries. You used to make timely decision in face of incomplete information, managing risks and setting priorities driven by business impact. You have the passion for innovation, the desire to challenge yourself and want to put your creativity in enabling our profitable growth by providing state-of-the-art industrial test solutions for our new products.

Your profile:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in developing analog mixed-signal ATE-systems (experience on Advantest 93K is a bonus)
  • Deep knowledge in analog measurement techniques, design for testability and quality screening techniques
  • You are familiar with automotive mixed-signal IC validation and qualification
  • Expertise in semiconductor production environments
  • Experience with cross functional teams and good communication skills to operate in a global environment with multiple partners in Europe and Asia.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing.
  • Fluency in English language both oral and written
