Job description

We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Specialist to join our team and take a key role in automating tests within an agile team structure. This role involves contributing to the growth of our QA strategy, collaborating with QA professionals across teams, and achieving both short- and long-term project/program objectives. As a senior member, you will actively work on test setups, mentor colleagues, and enhance the quality assurance of our digital products.The work will include:

• Mijn Burgerprofiel (My Citizen Profile): A secure platform for managing government-related matters.
• Web Platform: A service simplifying digital interactions for Flemish government organizations.
• Central Contact Center: The primary contact point for inquiries from citizens, businesses, and organizations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a test specialist for testing large, business-critical applications.
• Proven experience with formal testing methods and techniques.
• Proven knowledge of specialized testing suites or tools.
• Proven knowledge of functional testing.
• Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR Level C2.
• Proven experience as a test automation engineer.
• Proven experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban).
• Proven experience with API testing.
• Proven experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) approaches.
• Proven experience in setting up and expanding test planning and test coordination.
• Proven experience with Cypress.
• Proven experience with Playwright.
• Experience as a developer.
• Experience with Data-Driven Testing.
