Senior Technology Project Leader

SCOPE OF POSITION:

Senior Technology Project Leader drives collaborative delivery of new technology from customer concept to manufacturing reality for justified business opportunities. Project Management team, in concert with Technology product team members, are the face of the Technology organization in finding ways to overcome the obstacles – technical, organizational, customer oriented to do so. We do that on time, within scope, and on budget using clear concise communication within the team, with our stakeholders, and in partnership with our steering team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Owns and controls project Scope, Schedule, Budget, and Quality
-Understands customer needs and drives alignment and collaboration across all functions
-Oversees product and process technical design and identifies mis-matches with market needs
-Understands manufacturing principles and aligns solution to fulfill long term profitability
-Seeks resources (people, machines, materials) proactively in order to meet milestones and holds resources accountable for delivery
-Resolves conflict within the project through effective leadership & negotiates resolution to external conflict
-Facilitates rational decision-making processes with team and steering members
-Communicates the project status internally & externally to the organization & stakeholders in both formal and informal settings
 

REQUIREMENTS:

-Technical Bachelor Degree in: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or similar (MSc or MBA preferred)
-Strong Team Leadership – Collaborates for the optimal business outcome
-Stakeholder Partnership – Communicates effectively in English with Global Project Teams, Steering Teams and Stakeholders
-Judgement – Obtains timely input before making decisions
-Ownership and Commitment – Is passionate to succeed in delivering the best business outcome
-Learning Agility – Demonstrates positive, proactive attitude toward change
-5+ years’ experience in Product Development (preferred)
-Project Management Professional certification (preferred)
