We cover branches such as political thought, epistemology and metaphysics, and also draw upon the writings of Ancient and Modern philosophers to place our programmes in a historical context.The departmental administrative team provides a wide range of administrative support to facilitate the delivery of teaching and research activity. We work proactively and collaboratively with academic colleagues across the department and in UCL Central Professional Services in order to make UCL a great place to work and study.About the roleThe Senior Teaching and Learning Administrator (Undergraduate) is responsible for the administration of all aspects of undergraduate programmes, working closely with the Departmental Tutor to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and the best possible student experience.The post-holder works proactively and collaboratively, and also provides line management for a grade 6 Teaching and Learning Administrator. The post is cyclical in nature, with peaks and troughs across the academic year. The post-holder is expected to take leave outside the department’s busiest times.About youWe are seeking a professional with a substantial experience of working in Higher Education administration. Experience of programme administration in a comparable previous post is essential. The postholder should have excellent organisational and prioritisation skills and ability to remain focussed in spite of interruptions or competing demands. A positive and approachable demeanour, coupled with a a strong focus on attention to detail.The ideal candidate will be highly proactive, an expert problem solver, and dedicated to exceptional customer service.
