About the Job:Are you motivated by working in a dynamic environment with steep learning curve working on complex regulatory requirements in a global setting?Then join us as our new Senior Tax Reporting Specialist where you will be part of the Global Tax Reporting team and help us manage the global tax landscape on behalf of Saxo’s clients and partners.You will be part of a specialist team, and your team will be working toward making qualified analysis to comply with Saxo’s compliance and reporting obligations within several jurisdictions. The team strives to constantly challenge the status quo while also managing the operational risk and quality of reporting in a smart and efficient way.As our new Senior Tax Reporting Specialist, you will take the leading role in defining the roadmap and improvement areas of various tax operations and reporting with direct access to skilled technology resources.Responsibilities:You will be working on variety of tasks within client tax compliance and reportingDrive the development of new reporting solutions and provide Subject Matter Expert knowledge to ensure high quality implementation.Ensure Saxo remains compliant with new and existing tax laws and regulatory affairs with respect to customer tax reporting, such as reporting of withholding tax and dividends.Review internal operations and procedures to ensure continuous improvement of reporting accuracy and completeness. When needed suggest new procedures for improving the collection of tax information. It can require working with large financial data sets.Drive and manage tax administration regarding customer requests and communication with Tax Regulators.Implement internal policies, procedures, and automatic controls for operational handling of tax reporting.Supporting commercial projects where regulatory reporting is part of the service offering.Your Profile:Master’s degree in law, accounting, business economics, or related field on similar level.Proven track record as a Tax Specialist, Business Analyst or similar within the financial services industry.Have experience of working with IT solution implementation, and proficiency in using Excel, Power BI tool, SQL etc. for data analysis and queries purposes.Furthermore, we are looking for a candidate who is structured, detail-oriented, analytical and self-motivated. Someone with focus on effective problem solving while working with tight deadlines.You are a team player willing to share learnings and new ideas and can work.
