NXP’s Mobile Wallet Program Management team is looking for an experienced System and SW Engineering Program Manager (EPM) who will plan, execute, and deliver HW and SW releases for a new combo solution to key customers.

As a candidate you need to have a strong technical background in embedded systems, SW development processes, and leading engineering projects. Your responsibility will range from the requirements phase all the way to the successful delivery of SW releases to key customers.

Responsibilities: 

  • Full program ownership
  • Full responsibility for project schedule, scope and budget with strong focus on customer deliverables.
  • Drive, Steer and Serve the Cross Functional Team (CFT) working on the program.
  • Develop the project plans and release milestones together with cross functional core team (CFT)
  • Prioritization of feature development and related tracking to ensure timely execution and high-quality deliveries.
  • Identification of any gaps early on and immediate proactive prevention to avoid issues later in project.
  • Responsible for risk assessment and mitigation plans
  • Managing priorities and conflicts regarding features, bug fixes and releases to different markets and customers
  • Coordination and organization of technical discussions across SoC, Systems and SW teams to debug and resolve critical issues.
  • Weekly progress presentation to the wider community of internal stakeholders including executives.
  • Support all ad ‘hoc calls/meetings with high demanding customers.

Job Qualifications:

  • BS, MS or PhD in electrical engineering, computer science, SW engineering or equivalent
  • 15+ years of experience in the semiconductors industry with a strong track record of driving embedded software projects and system solutions.
  • 10+ years of experience in a leadership position

Skills:

  • Demonstrate high levels of drive along with willingness to collaborate and problem solving skills.
  • Structured way of working, good interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate efficiently with a global team.
  • Quickly understand new topics and guide the teams towards the best possible solution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Experience with MS Office and project planning and tracking tools
