So, what are the main duties of a Senior System Engineer (DEVOPS) in Netcompany-Intrasoft? 

Joining us as a Senior System Engineer (DEVOPS) , you will have the opportunity to be a part of our highly skilled agile consultants teams working within large-scale transformation projects, that impact the life of millions of EU citizens. 

As a Senior System Engineer (DEVOPS), you will:

• Manage OpenShift container platform in DEVOPS mode with related supporting systems like Red Hat Service Mesh, GitHub, Helm, GitOps, Ansible Automation Platform, Kafka;
• Provide IT support, design and troubleshoot ranging from large Server, SAN farms to complex platforms;
• Configure/Troubleshoot Virtual environments: VMware vSphere, vSAN, Horizon;
• Server management, Operating System (OS) knowledge (UNIX, Linux, Windows);
• Design, implement and administer backup and restore on solutions like VEEAM and StoreOnce;
• Administer servers, bladesystems and composable infrastructure;
• Administer Storage systems on traditional SAN, CEPH and VSAN;
• Develop, execute and troubleshoot Ansible and Powershell scripts;
• PKI and certificate administration;
• Administration of monitoring systems like Nagios, Splunk;
• Administration of Oracle infrastructure, namely EXADATA and ZDRLA;
• Administration of mail servers and mail relays (postfix), anti-virus and anti-spam;
• Centralized deployment of software and updates.

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree with 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in English.
• Skilled in OpenShift, Red Hat Service Mesh, GitHub, Ansible, Kafka.
• Expertise in IT support, server design, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in VMware vSphere, vSAN, Unix, Linux, Windows.
• Experience with Microservices, Kubernetes, and Oracle infrastructure.
• Skilled in backup solutions (VEEAM, StoreOnce) and server/storage management (SAN, CEPH, VSAN).
• Knowledgeable in PKI, certificate, and monitoring system administration.
