PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Supply Planner and Inventory Analyst. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient replenishment of products and maintaining optimal inventory levels. The successful candidate will split their time equally between supply planning and inventory analysis to support our supply chain operations.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supply Planning (50%):

  • Execute replenishment of products from manufacturing sites and external vendors to maximize the level of service towards internal and external customers.

  • Monitor open orders and back orders and take corrective actions.

  • Reduce distressed inventory and report on results to Finance.

  • Participate in the S&OP process with Demand Planning, Marketing, and Finance.

  • Monitor portfolio changes and establish a proper phase-in/phase-out process.

  • Maintain end-to-end Supply Chain system updated in terms of master data and inventory targets.

  • Maintain inventory targets and review inventory levels at 3PLs.

  • Analyze levels of inventory in the distribution center and in the field, provide feedback to Finance, and submit appropriate forecasts.

  • Identify and deploy process improvements (continuous improvement) to increase productivity or cost-efficiency without jeopardizing quality compliance and service level.

  • Inventory Analysis (50%):

  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory data.

  • Develop and maintain inventory reports to track key metrics such as line fill rates, stock levels, order fulfillment rates, shipment lead times, ATP inventory levels, Volume performance.

  • Analyze inventory trends and provide insights to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and align inventory levels with business needs.

  • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and losses.

  • Support the development and implementation of inventory management strategies.

  • Assist in the preparation of inventory-related financial reports and presentations.

QUALIFICATION:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in in the healthcare industry

  • Detailed knowledge of a major ERP system (SAP preferred)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient knowledge of excel and PowerBI is a must.

  • Experience in reporting tools as Business Objects and other analytical tools is a strong asset

  • Fluent in English, written and spoken, other languages are an asset

  • Experience with Lean tools and methodology is an asset

  • Team player and customer oriented

  • Strong communication skills and presentation skills

  • Flexibility, including work time schedules
