Job Description:Job Title :Senior Lending Structurer EMEA Excluding DACHLocation : ParisCorporate Title : Vice PresidentDetails of the role and how it fits into the teamYou will be the first point of contact for EMEA (excl. DACH)) MidCap and MNC clients with a direct report to the EMEA Head of Corporate Bank Trade Finance International Lending based in Paris. Your goal is to structure and close the sale of tailored Lending Solutions by providing specialist advice to Midcap and MNC clients and prospects and support the Client Service Teams in resolving specific issues to ensure profitability and continued growth of the products of Deutsche Bank.Your key responsibilitiesMain role and responsibilities in Lending Solutions (including, but not limited to):

• Design, promote and provide Lending Solutions (Bilateral Loans, Syndicated Loans, Commercial Real Estate, Leverage Finance, Working Capital and Capex Facilities) to clients in the different segments by acting as the spearhead in negotiations.
• Structure Lending Solutions that fit client requirements and provide specialist advice to clients on the product.
• Maintain existing client relationships as product specialist and maintain and increase revenue accordingly by visiting clients with or on behalf of the relationship manager to resolve specific lending related issues.
• Accountable for the credit relationship and allocation in line with direct management.
• Structure and execute deals : model, analyse, determine and optimize transaction structure with a clear understanding of clients needs and regulatory requirements.
• Make pricing calculations.
• Negotiate internally (e.g. Risk, Legal, KYC etc …) in order to get all necessary approvals to proceed with the transaction.
• Act as a first line of defence : you will be responsible for monitoring of clients (financial as well as material non financial) developments.
• Responsible for market development and client acquisition in line with the EMEA Lending strategy.
• Support internal departments in the bank that require specific product knowledge.
• Maintain up to date awareness of competitor activity, market trends and market knowledge economic/political factors that affect the market and identify specific make opportunities in conjunction with the Relationship Manager.
• Ensure routine compliance with internal policies and procedures and external regulatory and best practices.

Your skills and experience

• Requires specialized depth and or breadth of expertise of the business, the market and the needs of the target segment (Midcap).
• Solves complex problems ; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.
• Takes decisions guided by policies in nonstandard situation.
• Academic degree in Finance.
• Min 7 years of experience within Leverage Finance and/or Lending sector.
• Native in French and fluent in English is mandatory, as well as the ability to negotiate and manage complex situations.
• Proactive, independent and structured work in cross-functional, intercultural teams across hierarchies, regions and time zones.
