Job Description:The Model Platform Squad is the system owner of the infrastructure of Model Calculation System (MCS) and is primarily utilized by the Risk Analytics. MCS is a comprehensive system that collects, prepares, and manipulates data for model calculations.We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior .NET Developer in Copenhagen to join our Model Platform Team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about building robust software solutions and has a deep interest in .NET and SQL. The team consists of colleagues in Denmark and India.Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality software solutions using the .NET framework.
  • Lead the tech aspects for the Squad, understanding data movement between mainframe and distributed systems (.NET).
  • Dive deep into the different technologies used, mainly C#, SQL Server, and, if possible, PL1.
  • Enhance application performance through effective tuning of SQL servers and SQL statements.
  • Take ownership of system architecture and data standards to ensure optimal performance and dependency management.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers along with stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner and Architects, along with the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a strong background in .NET and SQL.
  • Good understanding of system architecture and software design.
  • Proactive in anticipating needs and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in quality assurance of code and organizing it for AWS readiness.
  • Ability to create documentation for previously undocumented setups.
  • Experience working in an agile setup.
  • Skills in supporting the Squad and our users.
  • Knowledge of Cloud, Azure Dev. Ops. (ADO), CI/CD, and relevant technologies.
