• You will lead and execute process improvement projects with different teams across the entire BASF organization (e.g. teams responsible for technical realization of automation solutions).
• Additionally, you will drive Digital Automation by assessing processes and identifying opportunities to eliminate, simplify and streamline processes, thereby setting the basis for automation.
• You will have global exchange and collaboration with many product families.
• Furthermore, you identify internal stakeholders and support them on the way of digitalization.
• Furthermore, you will support the BASF Process House and support BASF’s implementation of its next generation SAP system with a focus on enabling BASF to “Keep to Standard” processes.
• Finally, you will train, support, coach and mentor BASF associates in the practice of continuous improvement, process optimization and automation

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education University degree in business economics, computer science/Information Technology/Software or other related discipline with minimum 3 years of experience in Digital environment, preferrable ad (Senior-) Consultant or Project Manager.
• Knowledge and/or certification & experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Lean, Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking, etc
• Knowledge of agile methodologies such as Agile, Dev Ops, Scrum, Kanban, etc.
• Good understanding of customer requirements as well as business process understanding and ability to speak in business language.
• Communication and consulting skills in fluent English are a must.

NICE TO HAVE

• Spanish and German are desirable, further languages are a plus.
• You like acting with empowerment, entrepreneurship and self-organization.
• You have a general knowledge of Change Management, Process Optimization, Automation and Agile working models and deeper knowledge in some areas.
• You are curious to learn more every day and like to share your knowledge with the team.
