• Doctor of science degree in the discipline of medical, pharmaceutical, biological or related sciences;
• Scientific achievements documented by scientific publications in international journals;
• Experience in implementing scientific projects as a principal investigator and/or investigator;
• Experience in the field of molecular and cellular biology, including RNA-seq, fluorescence and confocal microscopy, culturing cell lines;
• Knowledge of the CRISPR/Cas9 technique;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, CorelDraw, GraphPad;
• Ability to analyze the obtained research results;
• Knowledge of English at an advanced level, enabling the use of scientific literature and the preparation of manuscripts;
• Independence and very good work organization;
• Reliability and communication skills.

Specific Requirements

• A post-doc position is a full-time position for a person who obtained a doctoral degree no earlier than 7 years before joining the project. This period may be extended, in accordance with the scope of use of financial services under the NCN program.
• A post-doc may be employed by a person who has obtained a doctoral degree in an entity other than the Medical University of Lodz, or by a person who has completed at least 10 months of continuous postdoctoral training in an entity other than the entity implementing the project and in a country other than the country in which she/he obtained the degree.
• A person intended to use the services during the period of receiving these benefits, who will not receive other benefits from funds allocated as part of direct financial activities under NCN calls; will not receive remuneration from another employer under an employment contract, including from an employer based outside Poland.
