CIB Operational Permanent Control Team in Poland has a key role in the management of operational risks and the permanent control framework. The main mission of the OPC team is to coordinate, in a close collaboration with other control functions, the entire operational risk and permanent control framework of an entity.OPC activities cover all operational risks listed in the risks taxonomy, including fraud, outsourcing, shoring, conduct, compliance, breach of regulations, environmental, social and governance factors.   • Min. 5 years of experience in the Financial Services industry (preferably in Operations Departments)
  • Excellent command of English (min. C1 level)
  • In-depth knowledge of Investment Fund Industry and Securities Market
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications; knowledge of Power BI is an asset
  • Strong analytical skills, detail orientation and service commitment
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring in-depth analysis of operational incidents and following-up on them
  • Performing the risk identification through annual Risk Control Self-Assessment exercise and control framework revision
  • Performing Operational Permanent controls
  • Supporting operational Managers with defining and following up on action plans
  • Contributing actively to various risk-driven projects and initiatives at global and local level
  • Performing monthly meetings with Managers regarding Operational Permanent Control topics
  • Ensuring Operational Permanent Control reporting
  • Promoting operational risks and conduct culture within BNP Paribas CIB
  • Contributing to process and reporting related automated solutions and initiatives
