Join our 2,000-strong team at Aptiv Technical Center in Krakow to advance your career, grow and make a real difference.Your RoleWe’re seeking an experienced Senior Software System Test Engineer with deep expertise in automotive tests and a strong knowledge of software testing methodologies.As a Senior Software System Test Engineer , you’ll work alongside a team of skilled automotive test engineers, planning, developing, and integrating automation tests for our product (BCM – Body Control Module)

• Developing, documenting and executing software systems tests according to Advanced Safety and User Experience standards.
• Defining test procedures and test cases.
• Developing automatic test environment and automatic tests (when suitable).
• Executing tests, creating test reports and reporting bugs.
• Executing vehicle tests (when suitable).
• Active participation in software systems test related reviews.
• Active participation in project meetings.
• Keeping contacts with clients (when suitable) in the area of software development and software systems tests.
• Active participation in technical innovations and organisation programs.
• Accomplishing tasks in accordance to Advanced Safety and User Experience and TCK quality standards and schedules.
• Care for good company image.
• Continuous developing of professional qualifications.
• Care for confidential information and company’s property.

Your BackgroundKey ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

• Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical/Communications Engineering or Computer Science
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in automotive test engineering
• Good understanding of automotive testing standards and norms
• Profound knowledge of test methodology and test automation
• Good knowledge Vector simulation and tools
• Good knowledge in communication protocols like CAN, LIN & Automotive Ethernet
• Basic Knowledge of AUTOSAR platform (Classic or Adaptive), AUTOSAR communication configuration and testing of core platform services
• Good knowledge in Diagnostics, Data logging and root causing in Automotive Systems.
• Experience with functional testing
