Located in our Torino facility, we have a fantastic opportunity as a Senior Software Quality Engineer. In this role, you will ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies and automation, coupled with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences. As a key member of our development team, you will play a critical role in driving the quality assurance process from conception to implementation.

The main responsibilities of this professional will be:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure the quality of software products.
  • Design, develop, and execute automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects and issues.
  • Perform thorough regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.
  • Provide timely and accurate feedback to developers and stakeholders on software quality and performance metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing and quality assurance.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on setting up and maintaining automated test environments
  • Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Jenkins).
  • Hands-on experience with programming languages like Python.
  • Support the project team with complex bug analysis and integration issues by using Jira
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail, well organized and focused on achieving results by using Excel.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
  • ISTQB or similar certification in software testing is desirable.
