  • Build microservices that will be responsible for handling data from different sources and integrating them within the product
  • Build, test, and maintain database pipeline architectures
  • Create methods for data validations
  • Create data models
  • Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling

We are in the early stages of the project, so you will be able to set the direction and influence how we do the future architectural design of the data team, establishing standards and promoting a strong engineering culture.You will also be expected to:

  • Design well-architected solutions based on proven design patterns or paradigms.
  • Lead initiatives to improve any aspect of our data platform, such as reliability, performance, security, costs, etc.
  • Approach challenges creatively and innovatively, always trying to find the best solution for each requirement.
  • Collaborate closely with other stakeholders, like product teams, sales, marketing, customer success, and senior management.

  • 5+ years of experience with software development and has strong programming skills
  • Demonstrated experience in building, testing, and maintaining highly scalable and robust data pipelines
  • Knowledge of Connecting to different APIs
  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and storing of data into SQL database, NoSQL (It’s a plus if you know more)
  • Knowledge of streaming of data. For example, Kafka

Nice to have:

  • Data lakes: Knowledge of S3 buckets, Redshift, or similar
  • Curiosity of leveraging data into insights
  • Machine learning
