Through our people, leadership development, services, technology and scale, Wabtec delivers better outcomes for global customers by speaking the language of industry.Who will you be working with?You will work for Annax, a Wabtec site specialized in passenger information systems for long and short distance trains, trams and subways.There is a new development team in Piossasco, dedicated to strengthening the portfolio of tram projects.How will you make a difference?As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for IP network configurations and protocols, databases, real time audio and video streaming, devices diagnostics and updates, compatibility to 3rd party devices and cyber security requirements.What will your typical day look like?Design module and framework extensions with OO methodsDefine tasks and work packagesDevelop, test and document your codeMaintain and enhance build systemsConfigure and integrate ANNAX software and Linux servicesAnalyze issues and fix bugsApply cyber security rulesLive clean code principlesEvaluate and elaborate new technologiesWhat do we want to know about you?Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar+5 years experience with C++Professional knowledge of Linux, Embedded Linux, IP networks
