This role sits at the crossroads of software engineering and operations, adopting practices from both disciplines to create robust and efficient systems.Responsibilities:Architecture:

• Contribute to architectural decisions to ensure system resiliency is built into software development from the outset.

Automation and Orchestration:

• Develop scripts and leverage tools to automate deployment, infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and scaling, adhering to CI/CD methodologies.
• Orchestrate complex workflows across diverse environments to maintain consistency and reliability.

Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):

• Design, implement, and oversee CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable code deployments with minimal manual input.
• Integrate automated testing processes to ensure code quality and consistency.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Promote and implement IaC tools and practices to streamline infrastructure provisioning and configuration, ensuring scalability, reproducibility, and maintainability of environments.

Monitoring, Logging, and Alerting:

• Deploy robust monitoring and logging solutions to gather, analyze, and act on performance data and system alerts.
• Utilize observability data to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring system availability and optimal performance.

Performance Optimization:

• Regularly evaluate system performance to detect bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Implement enhancements to improve system responsiveness, resource usage, and overall user satisfaction.

Incident Management and Reliability Engineering:

• Participate in on-call rotations to address and resolve incidents promptly.
• Lead post-incident analyses to identify root causes and implement measures to prevent recurrence.

Role Overview:

• Develop strategies for resilience and recovery to achieve and maintain defined Service Level Objectives (SLOs).

Security and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulations throughout the software development, deployment, and operational processes.
• Implement security controls, conduct regular audits, and promptly address identified vulnerabilities.

Quality Assurance (QA):

• Support QA Teams: Set up environments and deploy necessary tools to support quality assurance activities.
• Automation Collaboration: Work with QA teams to automate testing processes and manage risks effectively.
• Non-Functional Testing: Collaborate with QA to design, execute, and evaluate non-functional testing scenarios.

What we are looking for:Must have skills:

• Monitoring, Logging, and Observability: Advanced
• Automation: Advanced in Python and Bash
• Configuration as Code: Advanced skills in Ansible
• Containerization and Orchestration: Intermediate knowledge of Docker and basic Kubernetes .
• Databases: Advanced knowledge in managing databases , and relational/no relational databases .
• Version Control Systems: Proficiency with Git

Valuable skills:

• Infrastructure as Code: Skilled in Terraform
• Practical experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Knowledge of Cloud Platforms
• Networking and Security knowledge
• Understanding and experience on CI/CD
