Overview
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and forward thinking Semiconductor Systems Architect to take ownership of next generation silicon product definition and architecture. This role sits at the heart of product strategy, shaping innovative solutions from early concept through to production.

You will translate market needs and customer requirements into commercially viable and technically robust semiconductor products. Working across engineering, applications and senior leadership teams, you will play a key role in defining products that address evolving industry challenges.

This position is suited to someone who combines strong technical depth with strategic thinking and is comfortable influencing decisions at both engineering and executive level.
Key Responsibilities

-Lead product definition activities including market analysis, competitor assessment and development of product requirement specifications
-Define system level architectures for advanced semiconductor solutions across digital, analogue, mixed signal and RF domains
-Conduct feasibility studies and trade off analysis covering performance, power, area, cost, risk and time to market
-Engage with key customers to understand system requirements and translate these into product level specifications
-Define integration strategies, hardware and software partitioning, and technology choices aligned to business goals
-Support development of long term product roadmaps based on market trends and customer insights
-Contribute to commercial planning including cost modelling, pricing strategy and investment justification
-Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams, promoting best practice in system architectureCandidate Profile

-Strong track record in defining and architecting complex semiconductor or SoC products through to production
-Deep understanding of system level design and trade offs across performance, power and cost
-Experience working across multidisciplinary teams with the ability to influence technical direction
-Solid awareness of semiconductor markets and competitive landscape
-Ability to translate customer needs into clear and structured product specificationsSkills and Experience

-Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related field, ideally at Masters or PhD level
-Extensive industry experience in semiconductor product development and system architecture
-Broad technical knowledge covering digital, analogue, mixed signal, RF and software integration
