Why this job matters

The Senior Sales Manager, Professional Services Multinational Clients is responsible for leading, coaching and developing a team of Account Managers and Business Development Managers focussed on Professional Services Multinational clients. This is a very significant client segment for us, and the leader of this team must be able to drive a step change in the revenue growth of the team in the next 12 months.

You’ll provide sales leadership to drive a measurable uptick in the YoY profit and revenue both in-year and across the mid term plan (3 years). You’ll be responsible for delivering through others to achieve the execution of sales priorities, retaining existing clients, winning new business through nurturing existing relationships and developing new stakeholder relationships, becoming BT’s ambassador and establishing our brand in Professional Services.

What you’ll be doing

• Responsible for sales plans and performance of the team that is critical to the delivery of the Professional Services MNC sales strategy and plans; financial measures (Revenue, ICGM) and non-financial measures (KPIs, NPS, Your Say)

• Drives performance of and establishes and extends BT’s brand presence, credibility and reach for the Professional Services segment; increasing the propensity of clients to buy from BT.

• Uses internal and external networks to adapt the sales plan to changing market forces, competitor activity and client opportunities.

• Creates a reputation for BT that attracts the very best talent, internally and externally, and an environment for the team to focus on client loyalty and long-term relationships.

• Responsible for timely and effective coaching and mentoring and drives subject matter expertise amongst the team to create an environment in which sales professionals can be brilliant.

• Sets client engagement plan for the team and manages across Service, Client Solutions, Sales Enablement and Contract Management to drive excellent client experience and NPS improvements.
