Senior Research Specialist (toxicology)

- Search scientific databases and literature to gather all toxicological and classification and labelling information related to the ingredients used/to be use in products
- Read scientific articles, dossier, reports and assess/evaluate the relevance of the published toxicological information
- Based on the identified relevant information, prepare and continuously update toxicological dossiers on the toxicity of ingredients for products, to be submitted to worldwide regulatory agencies, particularly as a result of current and future legislation
- Provide support in the classification and labelling of ingredients for ingredient portfolio to support the SRA Chemical Regulations program
- Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request, e.g. contribute towards risk assessment of ingredients and substances
- Degree in toxicology or other appropriate life science
- Experience in the retrieval of scientific/toxicological information for ingredients or other materials, preferably in the consumer industry. Familiar with working in cross-functional teams
- Excellent English (both written and verbal)
- Standard Computer skills (MS Office)
- Business focused scientist with experience of working in complex regulatory environments
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
