The roleThis is an exciting opportunity to lead the administration the Test-Smart implementation study. This position is funded by a aiming to optimise the use of blood tests to monitor long term conditions (hypertension, type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease) in primary care. The Test-Smart study will implement evidence-based testing strategies and accompanying patient and clinician materials in ten general practice sites, and measure rates of testing and patient reported outcomes in the implementation sites, compared to ten control GP practices.What will you be doing?

  • You will be the first point of contact for the Test-Smart implementation study, communicating with participating GP practices, participants, clinicians and researchers.
  • Your role will include executive support for researchers, budget monitoring, organising and supporting meetings, arranging site visits with participating GP practices, engaging with patient and public contributors, and organising stakeholder events.
  • You will develop and maintain efficient systems and procedures for entering data, data cleaning and resolution of data queries, and will design and prepare a range of documents and study materials.
  • You will keep systematic records, to ensure compliance with the study protocol and international requirements of Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
  • You will maintain confidentiality when handling personal identifiable details, in line with data protection requirements
  • You will manage excellent overall administration for all aspects of the study from set up to close down.
