The position

As Novo Nordisk Process Manager you will be supporting your colleagues across Novo Nordisk in the process of qualifying suppliers of materials or services to our production areas. You will engage with many stakeholders, such as Sourcing professionals, Manufacturing Development (ManDev) functions, Quality Assurance (QA) organisations, to name only a few.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Driving process groups to ensure continued improvements of the procurement for manufacturing process
  • Ensuring current and future regulatory requirements are covered by the process
  • Working with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure the process supports the growth of the company
  • Driving update of the training platform in collaboration with the Associate Quality & Training Consultant
  • Being engaged in roll-out of new Supplier Quality Management system in collaboration with a bigger project organisation

The position is anchored in Sourcing Intelligence & Quality CoE (SI&Q) in Strategic Sourcing Inbound Materials and Services (SS IMS).

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine you:

  • Hold at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering, pharmacy, or any other relevant field
  • Possess at least 8 years of experience in a combination of both quality and/or regulatory affairs as well as project management
  • Are familiar with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) acquired with the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry
  • Have experience in working with suppliers
  • Are fluent in English, both written and spoken

About the department
SS IMS and Global Strategic Outsourcing (GSO) (in combination referred to as Strategic Sourcing (StSo)) are two strategic sourcing units, with the mission to equip Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT) with suppliers, service providers and Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs), to produce and deliver high-quality products to our patients.​

Offset in our category strategies, we connect external capabilities and opportunities, with our internal sourcing needs on a time horizon of up to 10 years. ​

Via sourcing, negotiation and contracting activities, StSo connects market capacity of suppliers with the needs of Product Supply. We secure alignment with Novo Nordisk values and strategies, by having a number of Centers of Excellence supporting the Category Management roles.

Sourcing Intelligence & Quality CoE is providing direction, sparring and support to StSo with Sourcing Analytics, Financial advisory, Business Intelligence, Quality, Capability building and management support. SI&Q currently has around 19 team members.
