Job Title: Project Manager – Trade Compliance

Position Overview: As a Project Manager in Trade Compliance, reporting to the Global Head of Trade Compliance, you will be instrumental in managing projects focused on compliance, efficiency, and optimization. Leveraging your expertise in customs regulations and processes, you will ensure smooth operations across borders while demonstrating strong leadership and management skills to drive project success and foster collaboration across diverse teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Ensure timely delivery of assigned trade compliance and customs projects within schedule, budget, scope, and quality.
* Define project timelines and milestones.
* Manage risks and issues related to project delivery.
* Clarify high-level scope and technical synergies between sub-projects.
* Ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
* Proactively propose technical solutions and innovations.
* Report progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders.

Secondary Responsibilities:

* Collaborate closely with P&T teams.
* Develop and implement a governance structure for continuous improvement and innovation.
* Enhance customer satisfaction and build trust with key users/stakeholders.

Technical Profile Requirements:

* Minimum 5 years of project management experience in trade compliance/customs domain.
* Strong knowledge and experience in customs and trade compliance in a multinational setting.
* Expertise in product classification, origins/tariffs, valuation, and customs procedures.
* Familiarity with special procedures and certifications such as AEO certification and bonded warehouse procedures.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
* Knowledge of EU customs regulations and procedures.
* Experience with CAM/pCAM is a plus.

Location:

* Hoboken & Brussels.
* Occasional remote work possible.

Language Skills:

* English mandatory.
* Dutch proficiency is a plus.

Duration:

* Initial 6-month contract with possible extension.
