Together, we’re working at the pace of change to improve patient lives with diagnostic tools that address the world’s biggest health challenges.The Senior Project Manager for Radiometer is responsible for driving strategically important projects of high complexity and with significant impact on our business.This position is part of the Acute Care Diagnostics Business Unit located in Copenhagen and will be on-site, either on our site in Turku (Finland), Stargard (Poland) or Copenhagen (Denmark). At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.You will be a part of the PMO team working with New Product Development and report to the Associate Director of NPD project management responsible for projects that will drive the growth of our business. - Drive timely execution of key R&D projects / programs (NPD, NTD and sustainment), in line with the business strategy and goals.
- Lead cross-functional project/program teams consisting of R&D, Strategic Marketing, Clinical and Medical Affairs, Operations, Quality, Regulatory and others.
- Establish and manage project schedules, KPIs, costs, risks, and daily management.
- Interact with top management and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure effective communication and alignment across different functions, regions, and product portfolios, to ensure proper focus and prioritization.
- Interact with other Danaher companies for benchmarking.
- Contribute to further improve the project execution processes and portfolio management capabilities of the PMO organization.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Master’s degree in engineering/science.
- 5+ years of experience in R&D and/or product lifecycle management from the medical device/IVD industry including solid knowledge of design control.
- 5+ years of project management experience, leading complex projects, handling multiple internal and external stakeholders and large teams.
- Ability to lead and work in a matrix organization with global cross-functional teams.
- Excellent English language skills.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Presenting to top management and communication of the critical few/key takeaways.
- Experience with Business case development.
- Knowledge of Danaher Business System, Toyota Productions Systems, Lean Six Sigma or similar.
- Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2 or similar) and ability to lead projects regardless of professional area.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel when needed. 10-30% of your time is expected.
