The Position
Production & Business Support is a relatively new area, supporting Solid Dosage Forms Operations Denmark (SDF OPS DK) with facility/building management, sustainability, training, Health and safety, Finance and Project management.
As a Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for planning and coordination within Facilities, Buildings, Sustainability or Warehouse projects. You will work with one or more projects simultaneously, supporting the strategic initiatives and overall growth of Novo Nordisk. You will manage projects from initiation to implementation and end-user onboarding, following the existing project governance model of PEM and leveraging tools both NN as well as from your own diverse project toolbox.
You will engage with a variety of job roles and functions, potentially finding yourself in a steering group room one day, and on shopfloor with LoB, implementing process improvements the next.
Outside of the managing particular projects, you will be also involved in optimizing local governance processes and developing tools, standards and processes that will be used within SDF Operations DK area.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

-Developing, scoping, and executing strategic transformation projects. 
-Establishing and running Steering Committees and managing change activities required for successful project execution.
-Developing crisp and informative reporting material at VP and Corporate VP (CVP) levels.
-Identification and communication of dependencies with different stakeholders (within SDF Operations and outside).
-Stakeholder management.
-Steering multi-disciplinary project teams through all project phases with guidance, motivation, and constant risk management.
-Close collaboration and reporting to Project Portfolio Manager (PPM).
 

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, we imagine you:

-Hold a master’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, project management, or a related field.
-Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of proven project management expertise at a complex level, with proficiency in a variety of project tools and methodologies.
-Have experience with project management at senior management level, ideally within a larger matrix organization.
-Have a proven track record of successfully guiding, coaching, and empowering (project) team members.
-Fluent in both written and spoken English and preferably Danish.
 

It would be considered a plus if you have experience in the pharmaceutical industry or working with GMP.

You are a natural facilitator, that builds strong bonds across organizations and you are a go to colleague for sparring and advice. You communicate effectively with a structured, analytical, and problem-solving mindset. You respect the views of others yet can drive decisions through and direct Steering Committees to conclusions.

About the Department
You will be part of our PMO , Facilities & Finance team in Production & Business Support. We drive the vast portfolio of strategic projects within Solid Dosage Forms (SDF) Operations DK, supporting high-priority projects and ad-hoc needs in our business. Our primary focus is to ensure optimal capacity and productivity in a sustainable way. Our Area consists of around 900 people.
Production & Business Support is a department of around 120 people, and our team consists of 5 Project Managers, Project portfolio manager, Finance responsible and Facility responsibles, with different backgrounds, ethnicities, and experiences. We support and challenge each other, creating a foundation for our joint wellbeing and performance, both in and out of the office.
Our location is at site Måløv.
