Location: Hengelo, NetherlandsAbout the teamThe Thales Hengelo organization is built around segments. A segment is responsible for assuring all activities relating to development and delivery of our products either direct to our customers or indirect to another segment that is responsible for delivering complete solutions to our customers.In a segment Product Project Managers, Product Managers and Customer Project Managers cooperate with engineers, people from supply chain and colleagues from purchasing. In this specific situation we are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager for the segment Fire control at our location in Hengelo, The Netherlands.About your future job
As Senior Project Manager you are responsible for setting up and executing either a Customer Project (managing the Customer together with your team) or a Product project (managing the development, series production and the delivery of a radar/sensor to a Customer project, together with your team).You are allocated to the segment Fire Control and you report to the Product Segment Manager.As a Senior Project Manager you will help scope and define projects, and deliver products in compliance with customer requests. You will drive forward projects by managing time, quality and project profitability and by ensuring customer satisfaction.Why you’d be a good match
You have proven experience with working in a technical environment and have affinity with technical products. As Senior Project Manager you:

• Have relevant experience in Project Management (managing complex (technical) projects)
• Have a good skillset in project management methods
• Have the ability to manage complex situations in a multi-disciplinary environment
• Have excellent leadership skills
• Are strong in motivating and organizing project team members.
• Have excellent communication skills and are able to communicate effectively on different levels in the organization.
• Are fluent in English
• IPMA-B certification is a plus.
