Join our Energy Transition team and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.Your new roleAs our new Senior Pipeline Project Manager, you’ll join a dynamic and high performing team overseeing diverse global projects, ranging from traditional gas infrastructure to green initiatives with a growing portfolio of Hydrogen and CO2 pipelines, as well as submarine cables for offshore wind farms. Your role will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from feasibility and concept to detailed design and on-site supervision.Your key responsibilities

  • Managing pipeline and offshore cable projects from feasibility studies through to construction, commissioning, and handover.
  • Overseeing the design to the relevant standards of Natural Gas, Hydrogen, and CO2 pipelines for both onshore and offshore installations.
  • Ensuring that projects adhere to relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Collaborating with business development teams to prepare tender documents for new pipeline and offshore cable projects.

  • Master’s Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Significant and measurable experience in the design and project delivery of onshore pipeline projects from concept to construction, working to stringent quality, budget and time factors.
  • Emphasis on projects in detailed phases, from FEED to detailed design
  • Experience with Hydrogen and/or CO2 pipeline systems would be an advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of pipeline design software and the capabilities of those
  • Experience in applying pipeline design codes and standards, and other relevant material such as research papers and journal articles.
  • Experience in pipeline design disciplines relating to wall thickness, route selection, crossing design, material selection and soil and groundwater handling. Deep insights into station design is a great advantage.
  • Experience to also include assessing environmental impact, site supervision and authority handling.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A willingness to engage with external experts to learn, challenge assumptions and form best practice for H2 and CO2 pipeline design
