Where you will be working
In Novo Nordisk, Development is responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide, aiding Novo Nordisk in driving change to defeat diabetes and other serious chronic diseases through developing innovative and sustainable treatment solutions and making them accessible to patients worldwide.
You will be the Product Owner of one of our digital product teams that is centered around enabling the Development organisation and its partners in executing our flagship digitalisation initiatives and strategic aspirations. We aim to achieve scale and speed by transforming our clinical development processes through harnessing advanced automation, data insights, and cloud infrastructure capabilities as an integral part of our next-generation digital solutions. What you will do
We are looking for a Product Owner to support strategic digital initiatives within clinical and regulatory areas. The role plays an active part in leading the transformation as we derive actionable insights using state-of-the-art digital services and solutions. Particularly the position is intended to start out defining our IT enabler product roadmap.
As a Product Owner, you will ensure we focus on outcomes that make a difference to our internal and external stakeholders. You will utilise your product thinking in translating business strategy into value-driven product roadmaps and backlogs, balancing input from users, strategy, architects and developers, with the goal to build and operate a high-quality solution that is continuously improved upon to meet business needs.
In your role, you will work closely with your team, internal stakeholders and external partners to understand the needs of the business. Furthermore, you will also work closely with relevant software vendors. In your daily work, you will apply agile methods to ensure a flexible and incremental approach to product development. You are expected to shape the digital solution to support the overall organisation and use design thinking to identify how the organisation and processes can be reshaped to better support the scalability and efficiency of developing digital products.

-Adapting the product backlog based on feedback and data

-Having a good understanding of development processes, technologies, and constraintsWork within lean portfolio management and epic maturation

-Support the continued roll-out of agile across the area
What you bring
To be successful in this position, you probably have:
-Preferably a Master’s degree in relevant area (Business, Design, IT, Engineering, or other related fields)
-Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Owner (or similar role working closely with development of digital solutions and customers)
-A passion for building and scaling digital products from problem discovery to realised benefits
-Positive, solution-oriented mindset with an interest in process optimization and IT system development
-Preferably having experience navigating a complex stakeholder landscape ensuring that everyone is aligned
-A holistic approach with a flair for distinguishing needs and recognising priority business requirements, and an eye for simplification
As a person you get energized from solving complex problems and navigating across functional stakeholder landscape to ensure the creation of high-impact solutions. You need strong communication skills including the ability to communicate complex subjects in an easy and understandable way – and excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
