Reference: 4903An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Procurement and Commercial Services Department, within the University of Greenwich.As the Senior Procurement Partnership Manager, you will be supporting the University with the efficient purchasing and tendering across a wide range of categories to support student outcomes. You will play an important role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement ofthese projects within tight timetables, providing accurate information for sound decision-making with reduced risks and not compromising quality.As part of the Senior Management Team for Procurement and Commercial Services, you will line manage and lead a small team of Procurement professionals for Health and Science and a small Print Unit to establish and enhance robust relationships within the aligned business areacovering Health and Science and wider University, to drive productive collaboration between the stakeholders and the procurement function in the effective forward planning of procurement/projects requirements.Responsible for the tendering of bespoke contracts for goods, services and works, including research, preparation, issue, scheduling, evaluation, reporting on tenders and awards and the management of contracts, you will have knowledge and experience of procurement and its applicationwithin the public sector. This knowledge must be underpinned by theory and experience. You will also be an experienced leader and beproficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other IT systems supporting Procurement. Training on Oracle and Delta e-sourcing will be provided.

The role is based on the Avery Hill Campus with travel to Greenwich and our Medway Campus’.At interview there be an exercise and presentation.
